Working with Obsession and Anxiety – Workshop Saturday 2nd November 2024
This workshop will be looking at how counsellors can work with clients who are experiencing anxiety or anxiety disorders and those who struggle with unwanted, intrusive or obsessional thoughts.
This will include General Anxiety Disorder (GAD) and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) as well as social anxiety and concerns affecting our life in the modern world.
We will spend part of the day developing our understanding of the concepts and then move on to the role that counsellors can play and possible ways of working with clients who present with these issues.
The day will be interactive with practical activities that may involve your own experiences and emotions. There will also be opportunities to network with other counsellors from a variety of placements and practices and a lovely cold buffet lunch is included in the price.
Our workshops are held at Easton on the Hill Village Hall, New Road, Easton on the Hill, PE9 3NN from 10am – 4.00pm (9.30am registration and coffee).
Cost: £85.00 includes refreshments and light lunch.
